How to consult the I Ching ?
The way to consult it is to think about an issue, write the question clarifying one's own mind to find which is precisely the point on which we want to deepen, and use some of the methods of consultation to obtain the answer.
Initially one of the 64 hexagrams is obtained as an answer. Along with the main hexagram you can find one or several lines mutating or active. These lines speak to us of a particular instance, moment or clarification within that general image transmitted by the hexagram. In case there are lines mutating, then a second hexagram appears, derived from the first, that completes and enriches the response.
